Patricia A Beckman 78 years old, a resident of Pensacola Florida passed away peacefully with family by her side July 11th, 2024, at the Palliative Care Unit at West Florida Hospital from her short battle with Liver Cancer. Patricia was born in Cranberry Lake, New York on September 6th, 1945, to Edgar and Cleo Beckman she was one of 9 siblings. She lived in Cranberry Lake most of her life until she moved to Pensacola 5 years ago. She had many friends and family in the north country who she stayed in contact with and loved very much. She was best friends with Sheila (Whitmore) Gokey for most of her childhood and all of her adult life until she passed. Patricia (Patti) known by many, graduated from Clifton fine Central School and went on to the School of Business in Syracuse, NY where she also graduated from. Patricia had her only daughter Tracy L Sessions in 1967, when she moved back to Cranberry to raise her daughter, she worked at the ROCKLAND Form of Plastics, Patrica also worked at the Cranberry Lake Inn she was Bartender, Cook, and Waitress. She helped out at Ralphies Bar part time too. Patricia was always a hard worker and instilled a good work ethic for her daughter. Patricia landed a job with the NYS DOT as a snowplow driver. She was the only female at the time that drove the plow alone and she worked for the NYS DOT for 30+ years and loved the people she worked with. She was a dedicated employee until she retired. Patti helped at the church in star lake, where she belonged to the Order of the Eastern Stars, she also participated and was a member of the Cranberry Lake Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. She was famous for her summer garage sales; people came from all around when she had them in July and August. Patti is survived by her only daughter Tracy L Sessions of Pensacola Fl, Her two Grandchildren Derek C Sessions of Pensacola and Trinity L Sessions and her Partner Michael Valentin-Torres both of Pensacola, her 3 great grandchildren Liiam R Sessions, Myla M Sessions of Massena Ny and Poppy E Sessions of Pensacola Fl. She is also survived by some of her siblings, her sister Lynn King a resident of the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home Watertown Ny, another sister Thelma Hickey of Pensacola Fl, a brother Keith Beckman & Susan of Pensacola Fl, brother Kenneth Beckman & Marjorie of Beaver, Pennsylvania and her sister-in-Law, Lois King of Seattle WA. She has several nieces and nephews that love and miss their Aunt Pat. Predeceased before her was her 22-month-old brother Billy Beckman, Grandmother Luella Dilcher, her parents Edgar and Cleo Beckman, a brother Donald King, brother Junior King, brother Bruce Beckman and by her son in-law Derek R Sessions. There will be no services by Patricia’s last wishes, Donations can be made to the Go FUND Me Account on her daughters Facebook page and/or the Cranberry Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue in her name. There will be a celebration of life held in Cranberry Lake NY at a further date and time.
