Terry Wayne Sanders

Terry Wayne Sanders, 67, went to meet the Lord on the evening of November 21 after a battle with multiple health complications.

Born on November 6, 1957, Terry Spent his childhood in Eastern Arkansas. Born to Charlie Sanders, homebuilder, and Juanita May, homemaker, Terry was the 3rd of 4 children. He met the true love of his life, Cynthia Duncan, in 1974. Originally just friends, they began their life as husband and wife in September of 1987.

Terry was often the life of the party and always appreciated quality time with friends and family. He would switch from being clever to goofy just to put a smile on your face.

Throughout his life, Terry was involved in his local church. He volunteered to coach his sons' baseball and basketball teams. Though not always winners, he helped shape the lives of many young athletes through fundamentals and fun competition.

Ever the individual, Terry mainly worked for himself. He built several successful businesses throughout his career. He was the shining example of why men become their own boss, hardships and all.

He traveled across America many times, often for work. He loved his country and would often describe its beauty through all the towns and attractions he visited.

Terry never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Arkansas Razorbacks in college football on Saturdays. His NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys, but the hogs were deepest in his Heart.

Terry is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his two sons Chad and Chase, Two sisters, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. He goes on the be with his mother, father, older brother and 2 Brother-in-laws. 

Memorial service with be held the afternoon of Monday, January 6th at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida.
